Something to really think about

West Fork Arkansas
Can you say I am lucky? Can you say I am blessed? Can you just say that it was nice having someone in my wife’s family be elected as Mayor of a small town in Arkansas called West Fork?
Her name is Janice Throgmorton, and she is so vibrant and has a knack for making you feel at ease. She is funny and that is what maybe got her elected although she has some skills of making people want to work and want to prosper. She is not laid back in any way she is a mover and a shaker.
West Fork may be a small town, but most great politicians came from small towns, before they moved up the ladder of success.
Throgmorton is a name that is hard to remember let alone say, I call her Mayor Jan, that will get me by in a pinch. Her and her Husband or Christians and are active in their church and they always have something good to say to everyone. Like I say life is what you make it, “you can have a lemon and suck on it and make a sour face or you can add sugar and make lemonade and make everyone happy”
The Mayor of this small town, calls my wife, who has been sick and just her voice on the other end lifts my wife’s spirit and you can tell whenever Mayor Jan has called my wife, because she turns into a new kind of person.
To show you how strong she takes her job, I had a article printed out from the North West Arkansas paper, and it was more or less speaking about how Jan was doing in the race that was being held.
All I wanted was her autograph, on the news clipping, much to my surprise Jan had to read every line before she signed it.
Was there something hidden in it? Of course not, but everything that comes across her desk she has to sign she reads, and that is something very special because you never know what someone will try and throw into a document that is not to her liking.
West Fork Arkansas, is a small step onto a road of many doors, she may be Mayor now, but who knows where she will go from there. I mean sure she could retire and sit back and just think of things that could have been done, and those she could have helped, and if GOD has anything to do about it she could move on to a higher plan for the people in Arkansas and even those that may have never heard of Mayor Jan Throgmorton before.
I will not say that she will go any further in politics, but if you want honesty and pure hearted love, then the Mayor of this small town is someone you want working for you and in your behalf.
More about this outstanding Mayor coming to you soon as this reporter shall dig for more details.
Thanks

Shopping in your local store
I had the lucky pleasure of shopping at our local grocery store and as I was wandering down the many aisles of stacked foods, I began to watch other shoppers.
What became more amazing were those people that had their buggies stacked with foods, and those that had just a few items. It was also amazing to try and navigate the thin asles while others were parked in them and had no intention of moving.
It was almost as if I needed a horn to say “Please pardon, me and let me through”, I stood behind some shoppers who had to know I was trying to go around them and they were just looking at items and I know they knew I was there but had no intention of moving.
I finally said to them in a loud voice “Excuse Me Please”, they still did not pay attention, then all of a sudden they moved there buggy just a few inches forward and I was able to get around them. I know, they may still be there, standing and holding others up.
Then you have the ladies with those huge race car buggies and they are not only packing in the foods, but they have their children screaming, that they want this and the want that.
I make sure I make a turn on a different isle when I see this major tie up. No need to get behind a school bus that stops and checks out every can good. I would rather take the long way around the store and find a clear path, than to stand behind some screaming children.
Put it this way if my wife was well enough to shop, she would do all the shopping, but since she is not well, that means I am in charge.
So I take my time when I go, and sometimes I go late at night, or early in the morning and when I say early I mean early.
If I have to stop during the day, I will but it is not to do some major shopping, run in get what I need and out the door I go.
Most Americans, have well paying jobs and buy the major brands of foods, I mean the ones that cost the most. Me I look for the store brand, first off because it is always cheaper and cheaper is what I like. If I can buy something for 88 cents rather than 2 dollars guess which one wins. Your right the 88 cent brand, who cares if it is not the best or name brand. .
One more thing that gets on my nerves when I am shopping is these so called do it yourself check out lines, I mean when I check out I want a real American person behind the counter, one who talks and smiles. I do not like scanning items and bagging them myself. I would like to see more Americans back behind check out lines, give people work, do not let automation take over.
Ok I know I am just one American shopper that frequents local shops, but I am one that cares and if I do not get good service I will make sure that everyone knows it, plus they will loose me as a paying customer. They say who cares about me, well I care and if I can get more people to stop going to a certain store, guess who wins, I do because their business will slack off and then they will have to remember my complaint.
So as an American who shops every month several times a month, look out because I look for the bargains, and there is nothing wrong with looking for the good deals, more so in this time of need in our country.
Just be prepared to stand in long lines when you have someone with a buggy full of food. If I can make it with say 20 items hey that is all I need, I can always go back and get something else when the time gets later. No need to tie up the lines any worse than they can become.
Shop American, but look for bargains, store brands are just as good as those big name companies.
If you save a penny you have made your day.

WAL-MART Sucks BIG TIME
How many friends have you taken to Wal-Mart to shop and get some "GOOD DEALS" only to find out that what you were buying was not AMERICAN, but rather made in China, by workers that work in deploring factories 7 days a week and are paid maybe .17 cents a day.
The heart break, of so many young Chinese labors sweat, to make cheap items for you Mr.
and Mrs. American citizen. And what does Wal-Mart do to give you a break on this cheap item, they mark it up so high that it is not worth buying.
If the company Wal-Mart wants a store they just talk to the county in which they want to build and BAM it is done, the county rolls out the red carpets for a Wal-Mart Super Center to be built because they know that a Wal-Mart will draw money into there Counties and when Wal-mart comes in, there goes all the Mom and Pop shops that have been trying to compete with small town America. Remember, small town Mom and Pop shops do not get a break for building, they do not have roads changed, as well as stop lights placed around their businesses they just have to survive the best they can.
Personally, myself as a shopper, will not trade with a Wal-Mart store, first off because instead of hiring people that need jobs, Wal-mart has found that maybe they can get along with 4 cashiers and the rest of the store can have the "YOU SCAN IT YOURSELF" machines that would take away the use of hiring American people and that will reduce the cost for the stores to hire people, someone that needs a job, instead they have replaced people with scanners, and that is NOT right.
What was the man that created Wal-Mart thinking back then, you know him he has passed away now but his name and legacy will remain forever. I am speaking about the man from Arkansas, Sam Walton, the president and CEO of the store that had his name. What would Mr.Walton be thinking now days, about taking jobs from people and importing goods from overseas and calling his place America's Store.
Well Wal-Mart will be packed everyweekend, I just wish more people were aware of how they really treat their employess.
Guess everyone has to learn the HARD WAY,
Thanks

Waffle House's
The Liar from
(Wake up; it’s time to read another edition from the Liar from D.C.)
Good Morning, and welcome to today’s news from
I remember when I was a teenager and I jumped into my hot Ford Mustang, to impress those girls and the gas was less than 35 cents a gallon, I could fill the tank and ride like the wind forever or what I considered forever.
It was so cool back then, now if I drive it better be for a good reason or I am not going.
Or just suppose everyone was just like “YOU”, what would we all do? If we were like you in every way, can you imagine what life would be like?
I think it would be a mess; then again maybe you would straighten out this world. Oh well who cares.
Some people have started calling the place the “AFFLE” House leaving off the “W”. Is there a reason, do we have to be concerned? Just to show I am a true American I think today I will go and sit down at one of these fine restaurants and enjoy the food and kick back and watch all the folks coming in and out of the place. To bad they don’t have a wireless internet connection are no one would leave the building.
“HAVE YOU HAD YOUR WAFFLE HOUSE COFFEE TODAY?”

A LIAR FROM
Well here we are again, a new day
Wrong!. The famous Soft drink company had changed the recipe and anyone knows that when something is working don’t make a change.
But they gave us a new real tasting Coca Cola; in a fancy bottle as well the new 2 liter bottle.
With that everyone hugged her and guess what at the next re-union, the original apple pie was there for everyone to have a slice of, and as a matter of fact she had made an extra one just to be safe.
Now that is what makes things right.
If something is good, please do not change the recipe or you could have an uprising.

DCLIAR Laptops vs Desktops
Laptops vs. Desktops
All we have to say is a laptop is the way to go if you’re a computer person or geek. I mean we can all be strapped down at home or in our office to a desktop computer or we can do what most American’s are doing and plopping down the cash for a laptop so they can go wireless and use their computer anywhere and almost anyplace.
Think about it, how about going to breakfast are supper and in your hands, you have your trusty laptop, where you can do research or just check your e-mail if the place where you are at has wi-fi, which stands for a Wireless Internet connection that is available to their customers.
Also make sure you have enough USB ports that are important if you plan on hooking a printer and a camera as well as an external hard drive.
Well now get out there and shop till you drop and find the computer that makes you happy and doesn’t give you a hassle every time you turn it on.
