Something to really think about

West Fork Arkansas
Can you say I am lucky? Can you say I am blessed? Can you just say that it was nice having someone in my wife’s family be elected as Mayor of a small town in Arkansas called West Fork?
Her name is Janice Throgmorton, and she is so vibrant and has a knack for making you feel at ease. She is funny and that is what maybe got her elected although she has some skills of making people want to work and want to prosper. She is not laid back in any way she is a mover and a shaker.
West Fork may be a small town, but most great politicians came from small towns, before they moved up the ladder of success.
Throgmorton is a name that is hard to remember let alone say, I call her Mayor Jan, that will get me by in a pinch. Her and her Husband or Christians and are active in their church and they always have something good to say to everyone. Like I say life is what you make it, “you can have a lemon and suck on it and make a sour face or you can add sugar and make lemonade and make everyone happy”
The Mayor of this small town, calls my wife, who has been sick and just her voice on the other end lifts my wife’s spirit and you can tell whenever Mayor Jan has called my wife, because she turns into a new kind of person.
To show you how strong she takes her job, I had a article printed out from the North West Arkansas paper, and it was more or less speaking about how Jan was doing in the race that was being held.
All I wanted was her autograph, on the news clipping, much to my surprise Jan had to read every line before she signed it.
Was there something hidden in it? Of course not, but everything that comes across her desk she has to sign she reads, and that is something very special because you never know what someone will try and throw into a document that is not to her liking.
West Fork Arkansas, is a small step onto a road of many doors, she may be Mayor now, but who knows where she will go from there. I mean sure she could retire and sit back and just think of things that could have been done, and those she could have helped, and if GOD has anything to do about it she could move on to a higher plan for the people in Arkansas and even those that may have never heard of Mayor Jan Throgmorton before.
I will not say that she will go any further in politics, but if you want honesty and pure hearted love, then the Mayor of this small town is someone you want working for you and in your behalf.
More about this outstanding Mayor coming to you soon as this reporter shall dig for more details.
Thanks

Shopping in your local store

I had the lucky pleasure of shopping at our local grocery store and as I was wandering down the many aisles of stacked foods, I began to watch other shoppers.
What became more amazing were those people that had their buggies stacked with foods, and those that had just a few items. It was also amazing to try and navigate the thin asles while others were parked in them and had no intention of moving.
It was almost as if I needed a horn to say “Please pardon, me and let me through”, I stood behind some shoppers who had to know I was trying to go around them and they were just looking at items and I know they knew I was there but had no intention of moving.
I finally said to them in a loud voice “Excuse Me Please”, they still did not pay attention, then all of a sudden they moved there buggy just a few inches forward and I was able to get around them. I know, they may still be there, standing and holding others up.
Then you have the ladies with those huge race car buggies and they are not only packing in the foods, but they have their children screaming, that they want this and the want that.
I make sure I make a turn on a different isle when I see this major tie up. No need to ge
t behind a school bus that stops and checks out every can good. I would rather take the long way around the store and find a clear path, than to stand behind some screaming children.Put it this way if my wife was well enough to shop, she would do all the shopping, but since she is not well, that means I am in charge.
So I take my time when I go, and sometimes I go late at night, or early in the morning and when I say early I mean early.
If I have to stop during the day, I will but it is not to do some major shopping, run in get what I need and out the door I go.
Most Americans, have well paying jobs and buy the major brands of foods, I mean the ones that cost the most. Me I look for the store brand, first off because it is always cheaper and cheaper is what I like. If I can buy something for 88 cents rather than 2 dollars guess which one wins. Your right the 88 cent brand, who cares if it is not the best or name brand. .
One more thing that gets on my nerves when I am shopping is these so called do it yourself check out lines, I mean when I check out I want a real American person behind the counter, one who talks and smiles. I do not like scanning items and bagging them myself. I would like to see more Americans back behind check out lines, give people work, do not let automation take over.
Ok I know I am just one American shopper that frequents local shops, but I am one that cares and if I do not get good service I will make sure that everyone knows it, plus they will loose me as a paying customer. They say who cares about me, well I care and if I can get more people to stop going to a certain store, guess who wins, I do because their business will slack off and then they will have to remember my complaint.
So as an American who shops every month several times a month, look out because I look for the bargains, and there is nothing wrong with looking for the good deals, more so in this time of need in our country.
Just be prepared to stand in long lines when you have someone with a buggy full of food. If I can make it with say 20 items hey that is all I need, I can always go back and get something else when the time gets later. No need to tie up the lines any worse than they can become.
Shop American, but look for bargains, store brands are just as good as those big name companies.
If you save a penny you have made your day.

WAL-MART Sucks BIG TIME
How many friends have you taken to Wal-Mart to shop and get some "GOOD DEALS" only to find out that what you were buying was not AMERICAN, but rather made in China, by workers that work in deploring factories 7 days a week and are paid maybe .17 cents a day.
The heart break, of so many young Chinese labors sweat, to make cheap items for you Mr.
and Mrs. American citizen. And what does Wal-Mart do to give you a break on this cheap item, they mark it up so high that it is not worth buying.
If the company Wal-Mart wants a store they just talk to the county in which they want to build and BAM it is done, the county rolls out the red carpets for a Wal-Mart Super Center to be built because they know that a Wal-Mart will draw money into there Counties and when Wal-mart comes in, there goes all the Mom and Pop shops that have been trying to compete with small town America. Remember, small town Mom and Pop shops do not get a break for building, they do not have roads changed, as well as stop lights placed around their businesses they just have to survive the best they can.
Personally, myself as a shopper, will not trade with a Wal-Mart store, first off because instead of hiring people that need jobs, Wal-mart has found that maybe they can get along with
4 cashiers and the rest of the store can have the "YOU SCAN IT YOURSELF" machines that would take away the use of hiring American people and that will reduce the cost for the stores to hire people, someone that needs a job, instead they have replaced people with scanners, and that is NOT right.
What was the man that created Wal-Mart thinking back then, you know him he has passed away now but his name and legacy will remain forever. I am speaking about the man
from Arkansas, Sam Walton, the president and CEO of the store that had his name. What would Mr.Walton be thinking now days, about taking jobs from people and importing goods from overseas and calling his place America's Store.
Well Wal-Mart will be packed everyweekend, I just wish more people were aware of how they really treat their employess.
Guess everyone has to learn the HARD WAY,
Thanks

Waffle House's
The Liar from
(Wake up; it’s time to read another edition from the Liar from D.C.)
Good Morning, and welcome to today’s news from
I remember when I was a teenager and I jumped into my hot Ford Mustang, to impress those girls and the gas was less than 35 cents a gallon, I could fill the tank and ride like the wind forever or what I considered forever.
It was so cool back then, now if I drive it better be for a good reason or I am not going.
Or just suppose everyone was just like “YOU”, what would we all do? If we were like you in every way, can you imagine what life would be like?
I think it would be a mess; then again maybe you would straighten out this world. Oh well who cares.
sing, as well as every town in
Some people have started calling the place the “AFFLE” House leaving off the “W”. Is there a reason, do we have to be concerned? Just to show I am a true American I think today I will go and sit down at one of these fine restaurants and enjoy the food and kick back and watch all the folks coming in and out of the place. To bad they don’t have a wireless internet connection are no one would leave the building.
“HAVE YOU HAD YOUR WAFFLE HOUSE COFFEE TODAY?”

A LIAR FROM
Well here we are again, a new day
Wrong!. The famous Soft drink company had changed the recipe and anyone knows that when something is working don’t make a change.
But they gave us a new real tasting Coca Cola; in a fancy bottle as well the new 2 liter bottle.
With that everyone hugged her and guess what at the next re-union, the original apple pie was there for everyone to have a slice of, and as a matter of fact she had made an extra one just to be safe.
Now that is what makes things right.
If something is good, please do not change the recipe or you could have an uprising.

DCLIAR Laptops vs Desktops

Laptops vs. Desktops
All we have to say is a laptop is the way to go if you’re a computer person or geek. I mean we can all be strapped down at home or in our office to a desktop computer or we can do what most American’s are doing and plopping down the cash for a laptop so they can go wireless and use their computer anywhere and almost anyplace.
Think about it, how about going to breakfast are supper and in your hands, you have your trusty laptop, where you can do research or just check your e-mail if the place where you are at has wi-fi, which stands for a Wireless Internet connection that is available to their customers.
Also make sure you have enough USB ports that are important if you plan on hooking a printer and a camera as well as an external hard drive.
Well now get out there and shop till you drop and find the computer that makes you happy and doesn’t give you a hassle every time you turn it on.
DCLIAR BLOG
That's like when one of your parents, says to you "I won't be here forever", you just look at them like are they crazy sure they will. Then you get a call, that says one of your parents has passed away and that is when the shock really begins. That person who you have grown to love and respect and laughed and joked, and at time quarreled is no longer there to answer you vital questions or help you with advise. They are gone, and remember you said that could never happen to them, meaning passing away and leaving that void in your life.
Life seems unfair, you want to strike out then again you know that the person that you have loved for so many years, that was in pain, is out now and all you can do is in someway thank GOD for what he has done for them. They have no more pain, no more bills to worry about just a life in paradise. While we here on this global community, seek to find peace and want so much just to be able to make it month to month.
Every 4 years we elect a new President that has always given us big promises, and when office seems to have gotten a good case of altimers, and can't seem to remember saying that they would help the poor, oh yes they do remember how to line their pockets while we the Americans that voted the guy in, wonder what boat he fell off and where were we when we voted for him, remember when you vote for a man that promises so much, you must know that he will forget the promises that he made to you, and that was the only reason you voted for him.
Now these problems are not going away, just getting bigger and bigger. We are paying over $4 dollars for a gallon of gas, that is outrageous. I was thinking about buying a horse and a buggy but I know that the price for feed would be so high just to feed the horse be high, so that's out.
Then a bicycle would be nice, but how can a ride a bike when the heat is incredible outside, plus I would have to travel so many miles. I would be dead, which could be a good thing.
I know that we all are having a tough time of it now and it does not look any brighter on down the road. Prices are going up, and wages are staying the same, and food is outrageous all because of the fuel prices at the pumps. Truckers are having to buy diesel fuel and the price is so high that they are not making it . Some I know have been paying over a thousand dollars just to fill their 18 wheeler up. So who gets the shaft, you and me, Mr. and Mrs.US Citizen.
Lets remember the times in the past when we all thought gas prices were crazy, all because the price was $2.30 a gallon. We thought this was more than highway robbery, we were being cheated, now that the price is over 4 dollars a gallon I think I am being screwed.
What happened to the good old days, why can't we bring them back, why must we all live in this get it now fast your way life. Drive through windows, where things moved fast, now it cost more to sit in a line of cars just to go through a drive through. Food is also crazy, Milk is like GOLD, price are the same as gas prices, 4 dollars or more. We have turned to 2% milk, something we never did drink before, but because it saves us 2 or 3 cents, we buy it.
Every where you go now people are looking for sales, to stock up, because if you can get a two for one item that is a lot better than having to run out next week and the price double on whatever your need is.
This is America, where is the OIL why do we have to depend on Oil from Iraq?. We have oil that is ready to be pumped out of the ground, then we also have environmentalists that refuse to let us to drill for oil. Now don't get me wrong I love tree's and animals the same as you do, but I also know that we need to drill and lower the prices of fuel so that we can all become free again.
Yes I know the environmentalist are all having a tizzy fit now, but hey fill your tank up with tree bark and see how far you will drive.
This world is gone crazy and those that are the craziest or the ones that have to commute to work every day and get caught in traffic jams, which of course burns up the fuel in their cars, and gets them madder and makes them go into road rage.
Please be careful out there, when driving it sure is not like it used to be, fun, enjoyable. I can remember when we would complain when some car was just poking along the road, we all called the "Sunday Drivers", but those were really the good times. We could all get into our cars, and not worry about how far a place was and ride down back roads and see things that we never would have before, That was living in America was great.
How does this all connect with me "Laughing My Way to the Bank"?
Well I guess you can say that all I know is that we all have to pay bills, we all have to breath in oxygen, and we all must have water. We all want to survive, but how much longer will we be doing this, if we can't drive our car to get to our jobs, and how much longer are we going to be able to buy bread at the high prices?. So much to worry about, I decided to look up into that pretty blue sky and pray that GOD will some how help us all down here on this little rock we all share and call Earth.
So as I was driving to and from places that I needed to go, I was also praying and maybe that is what we all need to be doing is praying for help of some kind. And if you think there is NO GOD, well look around and tell me who you think GOD is and how he created this planet and all the trees and flowers and birds and every animal, if there is no GOD then maybe you can get your god to lower the prices that we are paying, but I bet my GOD will supply all our needs, not our wants, I said all our basic needs. Think about that my friend, honk when we pass each other.

The DC Liars News and Views

How many of you are handicapped? How many of you feel that your life is not worth living? How many of you want to quit and give up?.
Why give up? Why not look on the bright side of your life?. Think of all the things that you could "not have", like the legs you are standing on, or the eyes that let you see the beauty that is given to us, and we take it for granted, or the hands that can help others?.
We as American's have so much to be thankful for and some of us just seem to look at all our troubles, and not look at what we do have.
We have homes, we have heat, and we have electricity, we have cars and have TV's and other things that we take for granted. How many of us has to go to a food kitchen for a "Hot" meal?.
Now let's look at the others that are in our world or those that we tend to bypass abd look the other way in our life, those that do not have homes and live in the cold weather and those that live in hot weather. They are poorest of the poor. Do you think they are thankful to have a hot meal, or a hot cup of coffee?. The answer is "Yes".
American's have forgotten those that have not, and focused on themselves not caring about their fellow men or women.
Ok so you can see a doctor, some in America can't do that, and have no means of medical help. Did you hear and understand what I just said?.
Some American's have no have no way to get medical help, what is wrong here?.
Maybe you have Diabetes, you may have, or know someone that has Cancer, and yes you may be handicapped do to an illness do to something else like a car accident.

Most American's have jobs, but they don't pay enough to meet the bills. So we are forces to live day by day, watching every penny they have and "pinching" pennies to make it through until the next month of bills.
Don't get me wrong, some people are blessed to have good jobs, and there are some wonderful people that are even being a blessing to those that do not have by sharing what they do have.
In the end they will get a "Blessing" for helping those that do not have.
Take the Chihuahuas that were born without front legs, do you think they would complain, even if they could. I say No, because they were born that way and never realized what they were missing. They just got along on their two back legs. And then some good American's came in and did what no one thought would ever happen, and that was donate some money that they had to see that these dogs had two front rolling legs. Now that is a blessing and that also is "America" at its best.
If people can do that for and animal, just think what they can do to help you or the people that you know that need help.
Think also what they can do to help find medical cures for diabetes, cancer, hearing loss, blindness and every other major problem in America?.
I believe strongly in America, and I believer that we are all brothers and sisters and that we can all come together and get these funds to help in all the research that would help those that suffer from different medical handicaps.

This writer suffers from Epilepsy, and no one seems to have a cure yet, but does that bother me? No becauseuse I know that one day there will be a cure but until then I am praying for all those that have seizures on a daily basis.
Check your local Epilepsy foundation website and they should have more information regarding marches and and awareness weeks.
Remember you are only handicapped if you choose to be?. So live life to the fullest, help all those that are in need, and make sure you are thankful to GOD each and every day you wake up.
